Dr. Felix says “Dentistry attracted me because I wanted an opportunity to educate others about the importance of dental health while being in a hands-on environment. I will make sure that I am here to take care of their dental needs and will do what I can to ensure a comfortable and positive experience. After graduating from the University of Washington, Dr. Felix received her Dental Degree from the University of Washington School of Dentistry. To keep abreast of cutting edge technology, she’s a member of the American Dental Association and the Washington Academy of General Dentistry.

Of her free time out of the office, Dr. Felix says, “I enjoy traveling and spending time with family and friends. Also, I Love to dance! I’ve trained in over five dance styles and play the piano and sing.” She has also trained in the martial art Krav Maga.

About Me

Dr. Lawhorne says, “I love my job and I am passionate about dentistry! I really believe in preventative and minimally invasive dentistry, and I will give you my best every time you are in my chair. I believe that taking the time to educate my patients is the best way to run a practice. One of my goals is for you to be as interested in taking are of your teeth as I am.”

He continues, “I was first attracted to dentistry for a love of science and people. I like meeting new people, helping others, problem solving. I always wanted to be some kind of health care professional and Dentistry is so multifaceted and so dynamic!.”

After graduating from Washington & Lee University, Dr. Lawhorne received his Dental Degree from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. He is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Association of General Dentistry.

Dr. Lawhorne says “I enjoy being active and playing sports, like soccer, tennis, and racquetball. I watch a lot of soccer and am a big fan of Manchester United. Also, being outside in nature for fishing, tossing the frisbee or birdwatching.”

About Me

Introducing Randy Ogata D.D.S., our Orthodontist at Gentle Dental, specializing in creating beautiful smiles at our Lynnwood and Puyallup Washington locations. He previously served as the Executive Director of the Seattle-King County Dental Society and the Seattle-King County Dental Foundation.

Recently hired for the Puyallup office, Dr. Ogata specializes in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, using his expertise to create beautiful smiles for his patients. A graduate of the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology in 1987, Dr. Ogata continued his dental education at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry, earning his D.D.S. degree in 1991.

He furthered his studies in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at Oklahoma University Health Science Center Dental School, completing his post-graduate program in 1994. Dr. Ogata’s passion for dentistry stems from his desire to serve others, helping patients achieve the smile of their dreams. He cherishes the ability to make a positive impact in people’s lives and build meaningful relationships with his patients and their families.

Beyond dentistry, he enjoys being a dedicated volunteer and leader in Scouts with his sons. His hobbies include fishing, fly-fishing, fly tying, model rocketry, model railroads, kayaking, canoeing, and camping, reflecting his love for outdoor activities and exploring nature. With a warm smile and a commitment to patient care, Dr. Randy Ogata looks forward to helping patients achieve the smiles of their dreams.

Sirisha Munimadugu B.D.S., M.S.D, Periodontist

ABOUT ME

Dr. Munimadugu has extensive expereance with Implant placement, Extractions and Bone Grafting, Gingival Recession Treatments, Connective Tissue Grafts, Tissue and Bone Regeneration, Crown lengthening, Gingivoplasty, Frenectomy and the Surgical treatment of peri-implantitis.

She was awarded her dental degree in from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in India. She completed a fellowship from University of California, San Francisco. Thereafter, Dr. Munimadugu received her Masters and Certificate in Periodontics from theUniversity of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. She is also trained in Moderate Parenteral Conscious Sedation. Dr. Munimadugu is Board-Certified Periodontist and a member of the American Board of Periodontology.

Dr. Munimadugu lives in North Seattle with her husband and two children. She enjoys cooking, biking and gardening in her free time.

Dr. Michelle C. Sue, D.D.S.
Endodontist

Dr. Michelle Sue is an experienced endodontist with more than 20 years in dentistry, blending expertise in general practice, specialty endodontic care, and academic instruction. She completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Southern California in 2002, followed by advanced training in endodontics at USC in 2010. Her early career included serving as a clinical instructor at USC School of Dentistry, where she taught emergency, trauma, and sports dentistry.

Over the years, Dr. Sue has provided compassionate, high-quality care across California, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington. She has practiced in a wide range of clinical environments—from private practices and large dental groups to community health centers—earning a reputation for precision and patient-centered care. Skilled in surgical operating microscope techniques and digital radiography, she brings advanced technology and a gentle approach to each patient experience.

Dr. Sue is an active member of the American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, and state dental associations in California and Nevada. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys traveling, exercising, gourmet dining, reading, and being a proud dog mom.

Jonathan Volland D.D.S., Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon

Dr. Jonny Volland is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon with advanced training in complex surgical procedures, trauma care, and anesthesia. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, graduating in the top 5% of his class, and went on to complete his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, Virginia.

During his residency, Dr. Volland gained extensive experience in dentoalveolar surgery, facial trauma management, orthognathic surgery, pathology, and reconstructive procedures. He has also been actively involved in research on innovative surgical techniques, pediatric anesthesia, and alternative approaches to periodontal care.

Passionate about education and mentorship, Dr. Volland has served as an instructor and course developer in areas such as IV sedation, advanced oral surgery, and extra-oral photography. His leadership roles have included serving as Class Vice President, Oral Surgery Club Vice President, and a representative on multiple academic and ethics committees.

Recognized for his academic excellence and service, Dr. Volland is a member of honor societies including Tau Kappa Omega, Phi Kappa Phi, and Omicron Kappa Upsilon. He remains committed to professional development through active membership in the American Dental Association and California Dental Association.
