Dr. Hu says, “The best thing about being a dentist is being able to markedly improve an individual’s smile and oral functioning with just a few hours of my time! I love helping my patients to restore their smile by balancing function and aesthetics. Everyone’s dental needs are unique and I strive to tailor my treatment to best meet your needs.” After graduating from UC San Diego, Dr. Hu received his Dental Degree from the UC San Francisco School of Dentistry. To keep abreast of cutting edge technology, he’s a member of the American Dental Association and the Washington State Dental Association. He also speaks Mandarin Chinese. Away from the office, Dr. Hu enjoys cooking, drawing, painting and exotic travel.

Ramtin Amini D.M.D., M.D. Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon

About Me

Dr. Amini’s philosophy is to provide outstanding care while working with his patients to establish a comprehensive treatment plan. As a Board Certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon he appreciates his role in providing pain relief to his patients through often complex surgical procedures. He believes strongly in communicating with his dental colleagues to coordinate optimal care for his patients. Dr. Amini has a special interest in dental implants, bone grafting, and wisdom teeth extractions. He received his D.D.S. from Tehran University and practiced as a general dentist in Iran for four years.

After moving to America, he graduated from the Boston University School of Dental Medicine and was awarded his D.M.D. Dr. Amini then pursued his passion for surgery at Drexel University where he later received his M.D. Upon completion of a two year General Surgery residency, he continued his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency training at Allegheny General Hospital. After fourteen years of post-graduate training, Dr. Amini moved to Washington State to practice the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

He’s a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons among many others. Away from his practice, Dr. Amini enjoys skiing, tennis, and relaxing with his family.

ABOUT ME

Dr. Liebhaber says, “I enjoy being able to provide my patients with comprehensive oral health care in a comfortable setting. I love learning about the constantly changing dental field and applying this knowledge directly when treating patients.” “Dentistry always had a special place in my heart as I was fortunate enough to have had several wonderful dentists growing up that always made me feel comfortable and acknowledged my concerns. I hope to be able to provide that same experience to members of my own community.”

After graduating from the University of California at Irvine, Dr. Liebhaber received her Dental Degree from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Dentistry and completed her Residency at the University of Washington. She was awarded a Delta Dental Hispanic Initiative Scholarship and is a member of the American Dental Association and the Washington Dental Association. She also speaks Spanish.

Dr. Liebhaber says, “I like to cook and try new recipes, camp and hike, read all genres of books, go on road trips, explore new cities and countries and learn about different cultures. I was born in Costa Rica and moved to the Los Angeles area at a young age. I am happy I now get to call the Pacific Northwest my home!”

Xu Qian D.D.S., M.S., PhD., Board Certified Orthodontist

ABOUT ME

Dr. Xu (Sue) Qian is a Board-Certified orthodontist and a Diplomate of American Board of Orthodontics. She earned her DDS and completed her orthodontic residency with a MS at West China School of Dentistry, Sichuan University. Then she completed a PhD in Oral Health Sciences at School of Dentistry, University of Michigan.

She completed her second residency with a specialty certificate in Orthodontics at UCLA School of Dentistry. Dr. Qian has started practicing orthodontics since 2008. She is highly experienced in orthodontic practicing, teaching, and research. She was a full-time faculty teaching orthodontic residents and treating patients at Tufts University, Boston before relocating to Seattle with her husband who is a software engineer and their two young kids.

Currently, in addition to practicing orthodontics, she continues remote teaching the orthodontic residents as a clinical associate professor. Dr. Qian provides treatment with both braces and clear aligners. She is a credentialed Invisalign provider. Dr. Qian decided to become an orthodontist when she was in middle school because of the awesome experience she had with her orthodontist.

She is ecstatic to provide the same memorable experiences for all her patients and maybe inspire them to join the field as well!

Dr. Qian says, “I love working together with my patients to provide them with an optimal individualized treatment. Creating beautiful, healthy and confident smiles for my patients means everything to me.”

Away from the office, Dr. Qian enjoys hiking, cooking and spending time with her family.
