Dr. Chavez says, “ I love working with my patients as a team to help them achieve and maintain dental health and a beautiful smile! I was first attracted to dentistry while I was in high school a family friend knew I was interested in medicine and encouraged me to look into dentistry. I was drawn to the combination of patient care and artistry and it has been a perfect fit.” After graduating from Oregon Health and Science, Dr. Chavez received her Dental Degree from their OHSU School of Dentistry. To keep up with evolving technology, she’s a member of the American Dental Association and the Washington State Dental Association. Dr. Chavez says, “I love spending time with my wonderful family. We enjoy watching movies, family meals, traveling together when we can make our schedules work. I also love spending time with my Pomeranian affectionately nicknamed Coco the Wonder Dog and the Puffinator.”

Dr. Fakhravar loves his profession and feels very blessed to have a career that allows him to improve his patients’ health, confidence, and self-esteem. He encourages his patients to be involved in their treatment in order to achieve the best results possible, and is always open to questions and attentive to each patient’s needs. A native Oregonian, Dr. Fakhravar graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Portland State University.

He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree, his specialty certificate in Periodontics along with a Master of Science degree in Oral Biology from Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry, in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Fakhravar has served as Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Periodontology at the Oregon Health and Science University School of Dentistry.

He is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Board of Periodontology and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. In addition, he is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.

This distinction signifies he is a Board Certified Periodontist who has made significant achievements beyond the mandatory education requirements of the specialty.

Dr. Fakhravar enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle by going to the gym, playing basketball and tennis. He also enjoys traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

About Me

Dr. Conzatti has been delivering quality dentistry with Gentle Dental since 1986. Currently, he serves as Regional Clinical Director of the Portland/Vancouver area; locally, he is the Clinical Director of the Battle Ground office. He and his staff are known by their genuine smiles: they enjoy what they do and the people they serve. For the benefit of his patients and to provide up-to-date information and quality care, Dr. Conzatti maintains his professional affiliations with the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry, attending continuing dental education courses.

Family is important to Dr. Conzatti – helping to care for yours, as well as his own. He and his sweet wife are the proud parents of five girls and two boys that they home-school. The Conzatti family members are active in their local church. As a family, they also provide dental care for many people in Mexico who have no way to get dental care for themselves.

ABOUT ME

Dr. Zheng says, “I love working with my patients to create beautiful smiles and optimal oral health. I cherish the relationships that I’m able to build with patients and their families.”

Dr. Zheng passionate about dentistry and improving the oral health of his patients. He understands the importance of educating each patient about their oral health and walking them through their individualized treatment plan.

“I was raised in China”, Dr. Zheng says. “After graduating from dental school in Shanghai, I entered into a busy general dentistry private practice two years. During that period, I realized that that I had a passion for Orthodontics, so I traveled to Japan for a four-year Orthodontics/PhD program. After receiving my PhD degree, I worked as a postdoctoral researcher in Japan for another two years, followed by eight years in University of Michigan School of Dentistry. After a highly competitive one-year internship, I was then accepted into The Ohio State University Orthodontic Residency Program where I earned my certificate in Orthodontics and Master’s degree.”

Dr. Zheng is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists also speaks fluent Chinese and Japanese. Dr. Zheng says, “In my free time I love watching professional football, playing soccer and fishing throughout the beautiful Pacific Northwest”.

Dr. Hamidi says, “My goal is to make my patients feel comfortable while focusing on giving them great oral health. I keep abreast of the latest knowledge in the specialty of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. I am committed to treat each and every patient with utmost compassion and respect.”

After graduating from the University of California at Riverside, Dr. Hamidi received her Dental Degree from the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and her Oral & Maxillofacial Training from the Madigan Army Medical Center in Washington state while serving in the US Army. Dr. Hamidi is a Board Certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Dr. Hamidi says, “Away from the office, Dr. Hamidi likes golfing, hiking and cycling. I am deeply involved in charities involving third world countries and always have a special place in my heart for the men and woman in uniform.”

Shireen Chawla D.D.S., General Dentist

ABOUT ME

Dr. Chawla says, “I enjoy building connections with my patients and to be able to follow through with treatments to help patients achieve the smile and oral health that they desire. For me, being a dentist is all about bringing healthy smiles to my patient’s faces every day!” “I’ve always thought of dentistry as the perfect mix between science and art. I’m very detail oriented and I love working with my hands, so the art aspect of dentistry really appealed to me!”

After graduating from the University of Washington, Dr. Chawla received her Dental Degree from the University of Western Ontario, Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry. She also speaks Hindi and Punjabi.

Dr. Chawla says, “In my free time, I enjoy cooking and baking, going for runs, and spending time with family and friends. I also enjoy a form of Indian dancing, called Bhangra, and have been performing this type of dance since I was 5 years old.”

Dr. Yuquan Wan is a compassionate pediatric dentist practicing at Gentle Dental Cascade Park and Gentle Dental Battle Ground. She graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2019 and completed her advanced training in Pediatric Dentistry at Boston University in 2024. Dr. Wan is fluent in Mandarin and a proud member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) and the American Dental Association (ADA).

Recognized for her academic achievements, Dr. Wan made the Dean's List in 2018 and has a deep passion for promoting oral health as an essential part of overall well-being. She believes that good oral hygiene habits should start early and strives to create a warm, welcoming environment where young patients feel at ease. Dr. Wan especially enjoys interacting with children of all ages, making each visit an opportunity for them to build positive dental experiences.

Outside of the office, Dr. Wan enjoys traveling, snowboarding, and exploring dog-friendly hiking trails with her corgi, Kopi. With her friendly, patient-centered approach, Dr. Wan is dedicated to making every dental visit fun and enjoyable for her patients and their families.
