Dr. Huang enjoys seeing the satisfied smiles of patients when a difficult procedure turns out beautifully. Dr. Huang received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Loma Linda University and is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Association.

Dr. Huang is fluent in Chinese.

A hobby of Dr. Huang’s was what steered him towards dentistry. He has been stone-seal cutting since he was a teenager. To the Chinese, seals are an art of deep cultural roots, combining the essence of both calligraphy and engraving. The quality of stone-seal cutting is greatly determined by the strength and speed of wrist and hand.

To Dr. Huang, dentistry is also an art that his skill in stone-seal cutting has contributed to because of the intricacy and attention to detail that both require. Away from the office, Dr. Huang enjoys table tennis, for which he is a silver medal winner at the Oregon State Games, spending time with his wife and two sons, and of course, stone-seal cutting.

Dr. Pham attended Oregon State University and went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University. He volunteers with NW Medical Teams and is also an Office Clinical Director for Gentle Dental. In his free time, Dr. Pham enjoys outdoor sports–he is an avid fisherman and cyclist, and enjoys creating memories with his son Ethan.

Dr. Beatriz E. Fortanely, DDS, MS

Dr. Beatriz Fortanely is a board-certified orthodontist dedicated to helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles through personalized, high-quality care. She currently provides orthodontic treatment across multiple practices in the Austin area, including River Rock Dental, Signature Smiles Dentistry & Orthodontics, and previously with Castle Dental & Orthodontics and Jefferson Dental & Orthodontics. Her collaborative approach includes working closely with general dentists and mentoring orthodontic assistants to ensure patients receive the highest standard of care.

Dr. Fortanely earned her Master of Science in Craniofacial Science and Certificate in Orthodontics from the University of British Columbia, where she served as Chief Resident of her class. She completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, graduating with multiple distinctions in education, research, and clinical excellence, and her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin. She is board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics and an Invisalign Certified Provider.

An active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Texas Association of Orthodontists, and the American Dental Association, Dr. Fortanely is committed to staying at the forefront of advances in orthodontic care. Outside the office, she enjoys hiking, kayaking, and exploring National Parks.

Dr. Van De Graaff says, “Interacting with my patients is the best part of the job! Dentistry affords me a unique opportunity to work with people and keep them healthy. Having a healthy mouth is an important part of being happy.”

After graduating from Brigham Young University, Dr. Van De Graaff earned his Dental Degree from the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. While at Columbia, he completed the competitive dual degree program in Science Education. He subsequently completed a 6 year Oral and Maxillofacial residency at Kings County Hospital. He was awarded his Medical Degree at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center, after which he completed a year of general surgery.

His interests lie primarily in implantology, dentoalveolar surgery and sedation dentistry. He is also is bilingual in Spanish Dr. Van De Graaff says, “I play jazz piano and like to jog. I enjoy spending time with my beautiful wife and four children.”
