Dr. Lakshmi Harini Mallavarapu is a dedicated general dentist with over 10 years of experience providing comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University in 2015, after completing her Bachelor of Dental Surgery at Narayana Dental College and Hospital in India.

Throughout her career, Dr. Mallavarapu has worked in a variety of clinical settings, from private practices to community health services, gaining extensive expertise in exams, restorations, extractions, crowns, root canals, dentures, and pediatric dentistry. She is trained in Invisalign and CEREC crowns and will complete implant training in 2025. Her broad skill set and commitment to ongoing professional development allow her to deliver advanced, patient-centered treatment tailored to each individual’s needs.

After earning dual Bachelor’s degrees in Biology and Cognitive Science from the University of Virginia, Dr. Choi received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree with Honors in Clinical Dentistry from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dentistry. She went on to complete her Orthodontics Certificate at the Roseman University of Health Sciences, where she was recognized with the Resident Research Excellence Award.

Committed to staying at the forefront of advancements in dental and orthodontic care, Dr. Choi is an active member of the American Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontics. She is fluent in Korean and enjoys traveling, exploring new places, and spending quality time with friends and family outside the office.

Dr. Pannu exhibited a profound dedication to art and science from a young age. As he progressed through school, his dual interests continued to shape his academic pursuits. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of California, Los Angeles. He graduated with high distinction with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from the University of Minnesota.

With specialized training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from the Indiana University, Dr. Pannu brings a wealth of expertise and a compassionate touch to Gentle Dental. He is a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon specializing in dental implantology, full-arch implant rehabilitation, anesthesia and complex dentoalveolar surgery including dental extractions and bone grafting.

Dr. Pannu chose to work for Gentle Dental because of the support system that Gentle Dental has set up for their providers to help them deliver the best possible patient care. When he is not working, he loves to spend time with his family and friends, and also loves exploring the beautiful outdoors of Nevada.
