When asked what attracted Dr. Lee to dentistry, she responded “I grew up watching my dad donate his services as a dental technician to patients with disability. I saw how his work can directly impact one’s quality of life and happiness. I wanted to follow his steps and support the community with my career. That’s how I was drawn to dentistry.”
After graduating from Rutgers University with a Major in Chemistry, Dr. Lee attended dental school at New York University and received her Certification in Orthodontics with a Master of Dental Science from the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Lee says, “One day, my patient hugged me and said, “Dr. Lee thank you. I can smile in front of my family and friends now.”
Changing one’s smile can drastically improve both oral function and confidence. The joy I see in my patients energizes me to work harder and better everyday. It’s truly a gratifying career”.
