Dr. Slivka says, “In my free time I enjoy reading, writing, sculpture, surfing, and other outdoor adventures like white water rafting.”

Dr. Jason Goldberg is a dedicated oral and maxillofacial surgeon serving multiple Gentle Dental locations across Arizona, including Tucson, Peoria, Phoenix, Tempe, and Mesa. He graduated from the University of Toronto with a Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2016 and completed his advanced residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Yale New Haven Health in 2020. His academic journey began at the University of Western Ontario, where he studied Physiology and Psychology, graduating in 2012.

Dr. Goldberg is an active member of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He has earned recognition for his contributions to the field, receiving the prestigious Philip J. Boyne Memorial Scholarship in 2018 at the AAOMS Dental Implant Conference, as well as the John P. Kelly Research Award for Most Outstanding Research Project during his residency.

Dr. Goldberg’s passion for oral and maxillofacial surgery was sparked early in his education when he observed the transformative impact of a surgical procedure on a patient. This profound experience motivated him to pursue a career where he could help others in a similarly life-changing way.

In his free time, Dr. Goldberg enjoys hiking, playing tennis, making music, and spending quality time with his friends and family. He is committed to providing compassionate, high-quality surgical care, striving to create a positive and supportive experience for every patient.

Mehran Malakpour D.D.S., M.S., Endodontist

Dr. Malakpour’s experience and commitment to providing the highest standard of care for his patients. He pursues this commitment by exceeding the continuing education requirements for his profession. After graduating from Arizona State University, Dr. Malakpour received his Dental Degree and his Endodontics training from the West Virginia University School of Dentistry.

To keep abreast of cutting edge technology, he’s a member of the American Dental Association and the American Association of Endodontics. Dr. Malakpour and his wife Kiana have a Pomeranian puppy named Snowy. He is both devoted to his family and his practice. Continuing with his childhood interest in tennis, he has an active participation in local tennis clubs.

After earning her degree in Biology from the University of San Diego, Dr. Poidmore wa s awareded her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Creighton University School of Dentistry. She received her Certificate of Periodontology from the University of Nebraska Medical Center.

As a highly trained Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, Dr. Yong specializes in Trauma, Orthognathic Surgery, Pathology, Bone Grafting, Dentoalveolar Surgery, Dental Implants, and Outpatient Anesthesia. Dr. Yong is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine at the State University of New York at Buffalo. Dr. Yong completed a General Practice Residency at the Nassau University Medical Center.

After finishing his postgraduate dental training he went on to complete his Oral Surgery training in with the University of California San Francisco, Community Health Centers in Fresno, CA. In an effort to keep up with technology and great advances in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Yong regularly attends numerous training and educational seminars.
