Dr. Kess says, “I love giving my patients great smiles! Nothing is more rewarding than taking a person who is embarrassed to smile and making it so they won’t stop smiling!” After graduating from The Ohio State University, Dr. Kess received his Dental Degree and his Orthodontics training from the Ohio State University College of Dentistry. To keep abreast of cutting edge technology, he’s a member of the American Association of Orthodontics. Dr. Kess says, “I am a second generation Orthodontist and I have been interested in being an Orthodontist my whole life!” Dr. Kess says, “I just moved to Arizona from Cleveland, Ohio, and I’m looking forward to not seeing snow anymore! I enjoy golf, jogging and spending time with my kids.”

Dr. Patil says, “I love working with my hands and the science and engineering behind dentistry. Striving for a conservative, functional and esthetic approach with every patient is highly rewarding!” “I fell in love with dentistry when I was in high school. I saw how life altering it can be for people. Changing their smile, getting patients out of pain, and helping them eat the foods they love were just some of the draws.

He says, “My goal and practice philosophy is to help you get to your dental goal. Going to the dentist may cause anxiety for some, I strive to remove that anxiety! Your comfort and results are high priorities for me!“ After graduating with a B.S. in Biology from Canisius College, Dr. Patil received his Dental Degree from the SUNY Buffalo School of Dental Medicine and his Periodontics training from the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. He also was awarded his Ph.D. in Oral Biology from the University of Michigan. Dr. Patil is a Board Certified Periodontist. He’s a member of the American Dental Association, the Arizona Dental Association, and the American Board Of Periodontology.

Dr. Patel says, ”In my free time I love to read! Recently I learned to play chess and find it absolutely amazing! I have two wonderful children: son, Anik and daughter, Svaana.”

Emily Hall D.D.S General Dentist

Dr Hall loves her profession because it gives her the opportunity to interact with so many people on a daily basis. She feels fortunate to have a career that allows her to improve her patients’ health, confidence and self-esteem. Dr. Hall’s earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing, with a Biochemistry minor, Arizona State University. She received her Certificate of Public Health with Dental Emphasis from A.T. Still University School of Health Sciences (ASDOH) in Mesa.

She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine from A.T. Still’s Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health. She helped provide dental care to underserved families in a residency setting in Phoenix and Tucson as student dentist. Dr. Hall provided services at St. Vincent De Paul in Phoenix and El Rio Community Health Center in Tucson, to mention a few.

A native of Harrisburg, Pa., Dr. Hall also volunteered at Cathedral Health Services in Phoenix, Give Kids A Smile in Mesa; at the Gila River Indian Reservation Elementary School in Phoenix; and at the Navy Children’s Christmas Party in Mechanicsburg, PA.

Prashanthi Baddam D.M.D. Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon

Dr. Baddam’s practice includes implants, bone grafting, ridge augmentation, biopsies, extractions, full-mouth reconstruction, jaw surgery and sports injuries to the mouth.  She regularly attends continuing education courses in the areas of General Anesthesiology, Oral Surgery and Implantology. She earned her degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and completed her residency at Montefiore Medical Center in New York. She received her dental degree from the Goldman School of Dental Medicine at the University in Boston, and her B.S. from the Kasturiba Medical College of Dental Surgery in Mangalore, India. Dr. Baddam is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American Dental Association.

Dr. Garber encourages his patients to be involved in their treatment in order to achieve the best results possible, and is always open to questions and is attentive to each patient’s needs. He earned his bachelor’s degree at Trinity University in Texas and his doctor of dental surgery from the University of Texas Dental Branch.

He completed a hospital-based general practice residency in Tucson and received his endodontic training at Loma Linda University in California, where he also received his masters degree. Dr. Garber uses the latest technology and treatments to enhance each patient’s outcome.

Dr. Timothy Yu, D.M.D., M.S., is a highly skilled orthodontist practicing at GD Avondale, GD Greenfield, GD Surprise, and GD Palm Valley. A graduate of Temple University School of Dentistry, Dr. Yu earned his dental degree in 2005 and completed his post-graduate studies in Orthodontics in 2007. His academic journey began with a biology degree from Oberlin College in 1994.

Dr. Yu is passionate about the blend of art and science in dentistry, particularly in orthodontics, where he has the opportunity to create beautiful, esthetic smiles while respecting the biological principles that ensure safety and effectiveness. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, and the Arizona State Orthodontic Association.

What Dr. Yu enjoys most about his profession is witnessing how transforming a patient's smile can boost their self-confidence. He values the long-term relationships he builds with his patients, often watching them grow and evolve throughout the years.

Outside of the office, Dr. Yu enjoys staying active by playing tennis, basketball, and golf. He also treasures spending quality time with his wife and two sons.
