She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine, holds a Master’s in Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, and completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery in India.

Currently practicing at Gentle Dental in Washington, Dr. Deshpande combines comprehensive clinical care with a strong background in public health research and community outreach. She provides a full scope of general dentistry—from preventative care and restorative procedures to root canals and prosthodontics—while also analyzing patient trends to help design targeted interventions that promote better oral health outcomes.

Throughout her career, Dr. Deshpande has held diverse roles including serving as a lead epidemiologist during the COVID-19 pandemic and conducting cutting-edge research on head and neck cancer at MD Anderson Cancer Center. Her research contributions include multiple peer-reviewed publications and presentations on topics such as radiation-induced taste impairment and oral stents, earning her recognition at national conferences.

Dr. Paul A. McGriff, D.M.D.

With over 30 years of experience in dentistry, Dr. Paul McGriff has dedicated his career to delivering exceptional care to patients of all ages—from children and families to service members and seniors. A graduate of Hampton University (B.A. in Biology, Pre-Dental) and Temple University School of Dentistry (D.M.D.), Dr. McGriff furthered his expertise through an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at Fort Carson, Colorado.

Dr. McGriff’s professional journey includes extensive service in the U.S. Army Dental Care System, where he provided comprehensive treatment to soldiers and their families both domestically and overseas. His civilian career has been equally diverse, encompassing private practice ownership, group practice collaboration, and locum tenens assignments throughout Washington State. Skilled in restorative dentistry, implant restoration, bone grafting, rotary endodontics, and preventive care, he is committed to staying current with evolving dental techniques and technology.

Dr. Muktai Deshpande, BDS, MS
Orthodontist

Dr. Muktai Deshpande is a dedicated orthodontist passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. Originally from a scenic hill station in India, she brings warmth, empathy, and a love for long-term patient relationships to her work. She enjoys guiding patients through their orthodontic journey over the course of one to two years, ensuring each step leads toward optimal results.

Dr. Deshpande earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from KLE’s Vishwanath Katti Institute of Dental Sciences in India and went on to complete her specialty certificate in Orthodontics and Master of Science in Oral Biology at the UCLA School of Dentistry. She is also American Board of Orthodontics (ABO) Certificate Eligible.

Her professional experience includes serving as a clinical observer and assistant in India, where she collaborated with orthodontists to plan and deliver comprehensive care. She has been recognized with multiple honors, including Budding Dentist of the Year (2020), Innovation and Research in Dentistry Award (2019), and Versatile Dentist of the Year (2019). In addition, she has presented research at international conferences and holds patents for innovative dental care solutions.

Sirisha Munimadugu B.D.S., M.S.D, Periodontist

ABOUT ME

Dr. Munimadugu has extensive expereance with Implant placement, Extractions and Bone Grafting, Gingival Recession Treatments, Connective Tissue Grafts, Tissue and Bone Regeneration, Crown lengthening, Gingivoplasty, Frenectomy and the Surgical treatment of peri-implantitis.

She was awarded her dental degree in from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in India. She completed a fellowship from University of California, San Francisco. Thereafter, Dr. Munimadugu received her Masters and Certificate in Periodontics from theUniversity of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. She is also trained in Moderate Parenteral Conscious Sedation. Dr. Munimadugu is Board-Certified Periodontist and a member of the American Board of Periodontology.

Dr. Munimadugu lives in North Seattle with her husband and two children. She enjoys cooking, biking and gardening in her free time.

Endodontist

Dr. Michelle Sue is an experienced endodontist with more than 20 years in dentistry, blending expertise in general practice, specialty endodontic care, and academic instruction. She completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Southern California in 2002, followed by advanced training in endodontics at USC in 2010. Her early career included serving as a clinical instructor at USC School of Dentistry, where she taught emergency, trauma, and sports dentistry.

Over the years, Dr. Sue has provided compassionate, high-quality care across California, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington. She has practiced in a wide range of clinical environments—from private practices and large dental groups to community health centers—earning a reputation for precision and patient-centered care. Skilled in surgical operating microscope techniques and digital radiography, she brings advanced technology and a gentle approach to each patient experience.

Dr. Sue is an active member of the American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, and state dental associations in California and Nevada. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys traveling, exercising, gourmet dining, reading, and being a proud dog mom.

Jonathan Volland D.D.S., Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon

Dr. Jonny Volland is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon with advanced training in complex surgical procedures, trauma care, and anesthesia. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, graduating in the top 5% of his class, and went on to complete his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, Virginia.

During his residency, Dr. Volland gained extensive experience in dentoalveolar surgery, facial trauma management, orthognathic surgery, pathology, and reconstructive procedures. He has also been actively involved in research on innovative surgical techniques, pediatric anesthesia, and alternative approaches to periodontal care.

Passionate about education and mentorship, Dr. Volland has served as an instructor and course developer in areas such as IV sedation, advanced oral surgery, and extra-oral photography. His leadership roles have included serving as Class Vice President, Oral Surgery Club Vice President, and a representative on multiple academic and ethics committees.

Recognized for his academic excellence and service, Dr. Volland is a member of honor societies including Tau Kappa Omega, Phi Kappa Phi, and Omicron Kappa Upsilon.
