About Me

Dr. Pham says, “I was first attracted to dentistry for having the potential to improve my patients smile and to remove them from discomfort. I want them to have a beautiful and confident smile! I have been serving my Coachella Valley patients for over a decade and treat each of them like family.” After graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University of Colorado at Denver, Dr. Pham received her Dental Degree from the University of Colorado School of Dentistry. She also speaks Japanese and Vietnamese.

Dr. Rod Strober, DDS

Dr. Rod Strober is a highly experienced general and cosmetic dentist with over 32 years of expertise in comprehensive patient care and advanced dental technology. A graduate of SUNY Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Strober also completed a General Practice Residency at Nassau County Medical Center, solidifying his foundation in complex restorative and surgical procedures.

Throughout his career, Dr. Strober has specialized in cosmetic and restorative dentistry, implant placement and restoration, full-mouth rehabilitation, rotary endodontics, oral surgery, sleep appliance therapy, and clear aligner orthodontics. He is a skilled CEREC CAD/CAM provider and has advanced training in laser dentistry, neuromuscular TMJ treatment, and esthetic smile design.

As the owner of multiple successful practices, Dr. Strober has demonstrated a strong ability to transform dental offices into thriving, multi-disciplinary, high-tech centers of excellence. His leadership in team development, protocol implementation, and patient education has consistently elevated the standard of care and patient satisfaction in his practices.

Cappie Baker D.D.S., M.S., Orthodontist

About Me

Dr. Cappie Baker was graduated in 1984 from Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry in Nashville, Tennessee at the top of her class. She completed a combined specialty program in Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry from UCLA School of Dentistry in 1987 and also received a Master’s of Science in Oral Biology. Dual certification in Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry helps Dr. Baker offer a broad-based treatment that addresses the needs of all age groups.

After being closely involved with Train4Autism, Dr. Baker developed a desire to help and inspire others outside of her profession. She has been inspired by parents of children on the Autism spectrum who show tremendous patience, courage, and strength. Many of her patients who have been, in some way, challenged physically, mentally or both are living full meaningful lives with loving families and friends.

She professionally trained and employed a brilliant young man on the Autism spectrum for over 10 years while in private practice to which she feels has been most fulfilling and has brought her great joy. After over three decades and four generations of providing orthodontic care in the same community, Dr. Baker retired from her own private practice. The trust, support and collaboration from the community, friends, family and co-workers she served has given her a great sense of gratitude. Now Dr. Baker is excited about the opportunity to provide Traditional braces and Invisalign orthodontic care to our wonderful community of Palm Springs.

She looks forward to carrying on the tradition of helping others, being a good listener and providing a gentle caring approach to patient treatment. Dr. Baker enjoys building community relationships, working with other professional partners and she is a lifelong learner.

Developing the trust and the providing quality of care to her patients has always been top priority. “Working with a great team and continually enhancing my Orthodontic skills in order to provide multiple treatment options to patients of all ages is priceless.” Dr. Baker says.

Her skills include Pre-Phase I, Phase I, Comprehensive Adolescent and Adult Treatment as well as Advanced Surgical and Complex Multispecialty Collaborative cases.

During her free time Dr. Baker enjoys attending Invisalign continuing education seminars, many outdoor activities, gardening, cooking, and traveling with family and friends.

Dr. Stephen Kallaos’ goal is to provide a pleasant periodontic evaluation and an informative discussion of the options for attaining optimum oral health. He offers multiple levels of sedation to make treatment for his patients as comfortable as possible. He is also very active with his peers to stay on top of the latest technology and procedures available. His membership to industry associations include the Academy of Osseo integration, the American Dental Association, and the California Society of Periodontists, to name a few.

After receiving his Bachelor’s degree in Biology from UCLA, Dr. Kallaos continued his studies as a Bruin, entering the UCLA School of Dentistry for his D.D.S. degree. He then focused his studies on Periodontics and earned his certificate in this specialty from the UC San Francisco School of Dentistry. He is Board-certified by the American Board of Periodontology. Dr. Kallaos has been practicing Periodontics since 1998.

Outside of the office, he enjoys bicycling, snow skiing, and Sudoku, and his favorite author is Dan Brown. He is married and has three children.

After graduating from St John’s University, Dr. Pootrakul earned his D.D.S. from the SUNY Buffalo School of Dentistry. He received his Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery training from the Westchester Medical Center. He also speaks Spanish and Farsi. Away from the office, Dr. Pootrakul likes spending time with his wife and son. He enjoys relaxing with exercise and is a classic car enthusiast.
