She also enjoys combining this mission work with her traveling hobby, having been to 13 countries, 39 US states, and 6 Canadian provinces to date. Dr. Deshpande earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from KLE’s Vishwanath Katti Institute of Dental Sciences in India and went on to complete her specialty certificate in Orthodontics and Master of Science in Oral Biology at the UCLA School of Dentistry. She is also American Board of Orthodontics (ABO) Certificate Eligible.

Her professional experience includes serving as a clinical observer and assistant in India, where she collaborated with orthodontists to plan and deliver comprehensive care. She has been recognized with multiple honors, including Budding Dentist of the Year (2020), Innovation and Research in Dentistry Award (2019), and Versatile Dentist of the Year (2019). She completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Southern California in 2002, followed by advanced training in endodontics at USC in 2010. Her early career included serving as a clinical instructor at USC School of Dentistry, where she taught emergency, trauma, and sports dentistry.

Over the years, Dr. Sue has provided compassionate, high-quality care across California, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington. She has practiced in a wide range of clinical environments—from private practices and large dental groups to community health centers—earning a reputation for precision and patient-centered care. Jonathan Volland D.D.S., Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon

Dr. Jonny Volland is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon with advanced training in complex surgical procedures, trauma care, and anesthesia. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, graduating in the top 5% of his class, and went on to complete his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, Virginia.

During his residency, Dr. Volland gained extensive experience in dentoalveolar surgery, facial trauma management, orthognathic surgery, pathology, and reconstructive procedures. He has also been actively involved in research on innovative surgical techniques, pediatric anesthesia, and alternative approaches to periodontal care.

Passionate about education and mentorship, Dr. Volland has served as an instructor and course developer in areas such as IV sedation, advanced oral surgery, and extra-oral photography. His leadership roles have included serving as Class Vice President, Oral Surgery Club Vice President, and a representative on multiple academic and ethics committees.
