Dr. Mowrey, says, “I enjoy seeing the gratification and thankfulness on patient’s faces that I successively removed the tooth pain they had been suffering from. I also enjoy working with the apprehensive and fearful dental patient in reassuring and calming them for endodontic treatment. I am compassionate and gentle when performing treatment.” “At age 12 while receiving dental treatment for a cavity I became fascinated in the procedure and instruments used. I also wanted to fulfill a wish from my mother in that she wanted me to become a dentist. In my spare time in college I would visit my personal dentist and observe the treatment performed.”

After graduating from the University of Oregon, Dr. Mowrey received his Dental Degree from the Oregon Health & Science University. He was awarded his M.S. in Oral Biology and his Endodontic Certificate from Northwestern University. He is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association and the Marshall Baumgartner Endodontic Study Club.

Dr. Mowrey, says, “I enjoy traveling to different countries to experience their cultures. In my spare time enjoying hiking in the national forests, and winter skiing.” “I am retired from the U.S. Navy after 29 years of dental service.

I have been stationed in the Philippines, Italy, Spain, Hawaii, and various commands within the continental U.S. I organized and conducted approximately 50 humanitarian civic action projects to underserved Filipinos.”

ABOUT ME

Dr. Hoopes says, “The best part of being a Orthodontist is that I get to merge science and art to create beautiful smiles! I also really love getting to know my patients and hearing updates on their lives.”

“The thing that first attracted me to dentistry was that I had a great dentist growing up. While in college, I started volunteering at community dental clinics and saw the amazing differences dentists can make in improving people’s quality of life! Now I get to do that every day.”

After graduating from the University of Utah, Dr. Hoopes received his Dental Degree from the University of Utah School of Dentistry. He received his Certificate in Orthodontics and his M.B.A, from the Roseman University of Health Sciences. To keep abreast of cutting edge technology, he’s a member of the American Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontists.

Dr. Hoopes says, “Away from the office I enjoy playing the cello, hiking and camping, rock hounding, trying new food and exploring new places. I’m new(-ish) to Portland and I’d love any good restaurant recommendations!”

About Me

As a Pediatric Dentist, Dr. Buenjemia enjoys building doctor-patient relationships and educating her patients on the importance of dental health. She takes pride in helping her young patients establish excellent oral care habits that they’ll carry into adulthood. After completing her undergraduate degree at the University of San Diego, she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. Away from the office, Dr. Buenjemia loves exploring outdoors in the Pacific Northwest, and enjoys baking and reading to unwind.

About Me

Dr. Brammer says, “I enjoy working with and building trust with every patient I encounter. There is no greater feeling then when a patient walks away happy! I’ve been to the same dentist nearly my entire life and seeing first hand the changes he was able to create in patients’ smiles and oral health, I knew it was what I wanted to do!”

After graduating from Coe College, Dr. Brammer received his Dental Degree from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry & Dental Clinics.

Away from the office, Dr. Brammer enjoys cooking, movies and spending time with friends. He says, “Having grown up in the Midwest, I look forward to exploring all Oregon has to offer!”
