Gentle Dental’s 2nd Annual Holiday Food Drive a Huge Success
Gentle Dental is proud to announce that we will be donating $4368 to the Feeding America Natural Disaster Fund as part of our 2nd Annual Holiday Food Drive.
Held from November 1st to December 20th, this widespread event included numerous participants, including employees, patients, and community organizations.
Each Gentle Dental location rallied patients and the community at large to gather thousands of non-perishable food donations. While everyone achieved impressive results, a few stood out as the highest performers, including:
- Gentle Dental Mesa East – 401 items
- Gentle Dental Marysville – 320 items
- Gentle Dental Idylwood – 310 items
- Gentle Dental Waianae – 216 items
- Gentle Dental Cornell Center – 186 items
We want to recognize the outstanding efforts of these participants and give a heartfelt thank you to everyone who took time to contribute to this important cause.
In addition to Gentle Dental’s staffers and community leaders, the annual Holiday Food Drive also received support from countless caring patients, who went out of their ways to support their communities. We’d like to thank these people, as well, by continuing to offer expert dental care, while maintaining active roles in each local community.
Before the event, Gentle Dental committed to donating one dollar to match each non-perishable food donation. Inspired by the outpouring of support during the food drive event, we are excited to aid the Feeding America Natural Disaster Fund, which was designed to support the nutritional needs of those affected by recent natural disasters including fires, hurricanes, and floods.
With the success of our first two Holiday Food Drives, we look forward to next year’s event. We also look forward to participating in other events that allow us to support the communities we serve and raise awareness about the importance of dental health.
